Joseph Childs graduated with a Master of Arts from the Royal College of Art London in 2008.

His animated work has been aired on French, Turkish and American satellite television and has been shown at a number of international animation festivals across the world, as well as prestigious galleries such as the Parasol Unit in London. One of his animations is part of the private art collection of Jean Pigozzi and received a Man group drawing prize. His work also gained a special mention in the Quentin Blake illustration awards and was short-listed for the University of Surrey’s purchase ledger prize. Specific reference to one of his animations was recently included in the New York times 10 things to do in New York now.

Joseph lectures in Animation at Camberwell College of Art and London College of Communication.
